I’ve lived in Japan for almost a decade. Living in the northern most snowy subarctic of Hokkaido to the subtropical paradise of Okinawa and in between in the Northern Alps of Honshu. This has given me a unique experience of the diverse flora and fauna, peoples and cultures of this small yet vast longitudinal archipelago known as Japan.
